Serial murders in an Oxford college, a forensic scientist… fiction and fact fuse at Thriller School’s opening weekend, St Hilda’s College, Oxford.
Thrillers, mysteries, whodunnits, detective stories, English village ‘cosies’ and hard-boiled private eyes – this crime fiction course is an opportunity to read, discuss and learn about crime writing of all kinds.
Writers, publishers, editors and agents will take delegates inside the world of book publication. Author SJ Parris will talk about her new book, Heresy (Harper Collins), set in Elizabethan Oxford. Forensic scientist Emily O’Shea (Cellmark Forensics) will reveal the expert detail. Workshops will run for delegates to hone and tone their writing skills.
The Taster Weekend takes place on the 9th and 10th of January, a further four courses run in March, June, September and November.
